Virtual Award in Education & Training Course

This is the virtual equivalent to a regular classroom-based course. If you find studying alone online difficult, this is the perfect solution for you! Your tutors will be available live as well as social interaction with your peers just as you would in a classroom setting.


Upon successful completing of the course, delegates will achieve the nationally recognised Ofqual approved Level 3 Award in Education and Training Certificatefrom NOCN or Pearson Edexcel.

What is the Level 3 Award in Education and Training Course?

The Level 3 Award in Education and Training Course, also known as the AET Course, is your accredited introduction to teaching in post-16 education.

To obtain the linked qualification or Level 3 Award, you will need to attend the complete 2-day AET Training Course and submit the assessments online. This is an online exclusive course and will be conducted in front of a tutor in a live classroom setting.

What does the Virtual Live Level 3 Award in Education and Training Course include?

The Level 3 Award in Education and Training course is made up of three core units and requires three days of attendance from 9am-5pm (including breaks) in the virtual classroom.

Day 1:

Students will spend the first two days consolidating pre-course learning and reports. Theywill also take a look at Unit 1: Understanding Roles, Responsibilities and Relationships in Education and Training, Unit 2: Understanding and Using Inclusive Teaching and Learning Approaches in Education and Trainingand Unit 3: Understanding Assessment in Education and Training.


Day 2:

On the second day of the course, students will make their own teaching lesson plan in preparation to deliver it in front of the class and go through their micro-teach session.

The course will include a mixture of live lectures, activities and group discussions. After the 2 days of classroom training is complete, students will have one month to complete course assignments at home and submit them online before the due deadline.

Pre-requirements

The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is available for all candidates who fulfil the following criteria set by the Awarding Organisations:

  • Age range: 19+
  • Core skills: There are no formal entry requirements for this training course however candidate must have reading and writing skills in order to complete the course
  • Access to Internet using a laptop / pc / tablet using up to date Windows, Android or Apple operating systems.

Why should I train in a virtual classroom?

With the current global situation pertaining to Covid-19, classroom training is an option that doesn’t exist. However, we understand that nothing beats being immersed in the energy of the classroom while being surrounded by like-minded students who want to better themselves in studying for their future.

That is why we are introducing the Level 3 Award in Education & Training course in the virtual classroom format. This will allow you the opportunity to ask your tutor questions and will also gives you the chance to partake in group discussions with your fellow students. You can do all this while following a classroom plan that opens you up to new ways in learning and developing your skill in becoming a teacher or lecturer in further education.


FAQ's

AET Virtual course is a 2 day live, virtual course with real-time tutor and colleague interaction. Attendance is time-bound and compulsory like any regular classroom based course. 

The online self-paced AET is a 6 month course where you get access to a personal tutor if you require help but is mostly self-paced independent learning at your convenience.

The certificate can take up to 4-6 weeks to arrive.

The next AET will be held on the 10th - 12th February, 2021

This AET virtual course is equivalent to a regular classroom-based course therefore is costly and time-bound. You get live interaction with your tutor face to face as well as interaction and discussion with your peers on the course.

He has been involved in training since the mid 1990’s and has experience in both the private and public sector.
